Ready to Volunteer?

  1. Complete the mandatory Volunteer Request Form which allows the school district to conduct a Criminal History Screening

  2. Provide a Copy of the Prospective Volunteer Driver's License

  3. Submit your completed form and copy of your license to the Northwood Main Office.

Note: This form needs to be completed with every new school year (September-June) and takes approximately two weeks to process.

Additional Volunteer Opportunities

We are looking for volunteers for following open positions:

President

Leads PTA meetings; oversees the organization to ensure it is reaching its goals.

Council Delegate

Attend Council Meetings on the first Monday of each month, and report back what was discussed. There are 8 meetings per year. This is a great way to find out what's going on at the district level and you'll get to hear from our superintendent along with principlals and staff members from other schools.

Recording Secretary

Takes meeting minutes; Support person for all information related committee chairs

Nominating Committee

3-5 person Committee: Nominate one or more eligible persons for each office to be filled and report its nominees at the regular meeting in December.

Cultural Arts Assemblies Chair

Works with staff to line up cultural Arts assemblies throughout the year.

Rewards Chair

Manage our Box Tops for Education, Amazon, Kroger, and Toyology rewards programs.
