Get Ready for Northwood’s Spring Book Fair, brought to you by your PTA and Scholastic!

ALL SALES DIRECTLY BENEFIT NORTHWOOD. PROFITS LET US BUY BOOKS FOR THE SCHOOL!

 

When - Wednesday, March 19th - Friday, March 21st

  • Students will visit the fair with their teachers during school - stay tuned for more details from
    your child’s teacher

  • 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm - DAILY PUBLIC HOURS

  • Where - Northwood’s Media Center

Details -

  • Cash, check, credit card (including tap to pay) or E-Wallets accepted

  • Please remember the 6% sales tax when sending cash to school

  • Checks are payable to Northwood PTA, and do NOT have to be for the exact amount. We can give your child change.

Science Olympiad

Science Olympiad

Event Date: Friday, March 7th, 6:30-8:30 PM

ONLINE REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!

REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE ON FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 14th.  

Event information and registration instructions will go home in green folders next week. Paper registrations will be available on the PTA cabinet in the main office. Scholarships are available; please contact Mrs. Bascom-Keller.

Please turn in your permission slips and supply fees ASAP. All slips and fees must be turned in by Friday, February 14, 2024.  

VOLUNTEERS: WE NEED YOU! Please see the info being sent home in the green folders or the online registration page for volunteer information.  If you would like to attend with your child(ren), please consider a volunteer position, like team leader, cleanup/setup, check in/out, or floater. These are event night positions that help during the duration of the event. 

NOTE: ONLY APPROVED VOLUNTEERS WILL BE ALLOWED ON SITE FOR THIS EVENT. FORMS MUST BE TURNED IN TO THE OFFICE BY FEBRUARY 19TH TO ALLOW TIME FOR PROCESSING.

Trunk or Treat

Northwood's Trunk or Treat event is on Friday, October 25th from 6:30pm to 7:30pm in the school's north and middle parking lots.

Wear your favorite costume to celebrate Halloween with all of your fellow Northwood friends!

This event is only open to current Northwood families.

Walk to School Day

Walk to School Day

You are invited to our National Walk to School Day event on Wednesday, October 9! 

Meet us in the parking lot of First Congregational Church (1314 Northwood Blvd) at 8:40am where we will be joined by Northwood Elementary staff, ROMI the Royal Oak Mascot, and even a special police escort for our journey to the school. 

A light snack will be provided - we hope to see you there!

Fun Run

Northwood Elementary understands the need to promote a healthy and educational fundraiser to our students while respecting parents repeated requests for an easy no-nonsense approach to helping us reach our budget goals. In past years with the amazing and generous support from Northwood family and friends we have been able to provide many educational experiences for the students in and out of the classroom as well as provide field trips, assemblies, family fun events, book fairs, technology/media equipment and indoor/outdoor equipment! Thank you for supporting Northwood Elementary PTA!
